'Criminal genius' dog is caught on camera swiping cupcakes off a kitchen counter

Kara Probin, 25, from Wrexham, North Wales, secretly filmed her three-year-old dog River sniffing out three cupcakes sat on her wooden counter and stealing two of them. During the clip, which was captured on June 29, the dog is caught grabbing the nearest cake with her right paw and dragging it to the floor. Moments later the hungry hound reappears and grabs a second baked good before leaving the scene. Ms Probin decided to catch her pointer on camera after more than 15 cakes that she had tirelessly spent baking amid the coronavirus lockdown vanished.
