Buddy the six-year-old Bichon Frise is such a happy dog that if you throw him a grin and two thumbs up, he'll send a smiley face right back at you.

Recording her friendly dog at home in Liverpool, Kelly Ellise Lockett and the family couldn't contain their laughter at the hilarious and adorable sight.

Kelly said: "Buddy responds to certain key words with a smile but Buddy smiles all the time.

"We all laugh at him every time and he knows it gets a positive response so he does it more.
