The unedited viral macy’s video with my first guide dog Antonia!

Thought I would re-share a very special video on my channel, but this time the raw version without the edits. Linking below the original video here which has millions of views. In the midst of all the wonderful comments, there were also many negative comments against me I was hoping this video would help clear up. In my original video I edited it so nicely no one really saw every bit of my struggles that led up to the beginning of the video. In this edit, you see all of the challenges that led up to that moment, how there was no one around to give me any assistance for several minutes until that instance when I heard that first sales associates voice. I believe when you are looking through the lens of my camera, it’s easy to miss judge the situation, and are not able to see it clearly through my eyes. I am 100% completely blind, I have no light perception whatsoever, and I wear prosthetic eyes. When I am relying completely on my guide dog, and my sense of hearing to navigate, you can only imagine the overwhelming feeling I was feeling in that large department store in the shopping mall.

I operate out of a heart full of love, grace, and joy, but honestly, experiences like this are very challenging to say the least. I always take lots of deep breaths, and I give people the benefit of the doubt, and complete respect, even if they don’t know how to assist the best. Thank God for this experience, it truly opened my eyes to understand how to advocate for myself better and it gave me more confidence on my future adventures.

In addition, my beautiful Antonia hope in this video, my beautiful yellow lab guiding angel, she was my first Guide Dog who gave me back my life without eyesight. We became a team in January 2009, she unfortunately passed away on December 20, 2018. She is a large reason I am who I am today, the person you see, hear, and enjoy. She was the key to my freedom! She gave me confidence to be me, she gave me eyesight through her eyes, she gave me love and hope for my future. I could not have made it this far without her, so honored to re-share a beautiful video featuring her incredible guiding skills, and her heart that truly loved mommy to the moon and back ❤️
