Most animals have muscular strength because it is in their genes. Animals, unlike humans, do not have to go to the gym and do weight training to gain their muscle mass. They mainly just run to strengthen their muscles. Moreover, our animal friends have more physical activity in their lives than humans. From dogs chasing balls to lions pouncing on their prey, the animals have enough activities in their lives that make their muscles strong and use them willingly to show off their strength.

African Bush Elephant

The African Bush Elephant is the largest mammal, with the males reaching up to 13 feet height.
A study in 2010 reported that the African bush elephant is a different species than the Forest elephant. The African Bush elephant is also known as the African Savanna Elephant.
It is the heaviest land animal on our planet. Most of its weight is due to the muscle mass.

Belgian Blue

The Belgian Blue is a breed of beef cattle that was bred originally in Belgium. The Belgian Blue cattle are known for its very lean and ultra-muscular figure. The reason behind Belgian Blue's muscular physique is double-muscling. Double-muscling is a heritable condition that results in the animal having more number of muscle fibers. The Belgian Blue's muscles do not enlarge like they normally do in other cows; instead, they multiply in quantity.

Kangaroos

Many years ago, humans used to have fighting games with kangaroos as a form of entertainment. Fortunately, these kinds of games have become illegal now. When we consider the muscular strength of the kangaroo, it is easy to understand why!
Kangaroos have a large proportion of their population in Australia. Kangaroo's tail is the most muscular part of its body. The tail is strong enough to support all the kangaroo's weight and is therefore also considered the kangaroo's fifth leg.

Draft Horse

A draft horse is a large and very strong horse. During pre-industrial times, farmers required horses to perform challenging tasks such as hauling heavy loads or plowing fields. On the other hand farmers also needed a lightweight and athletic horse that would be required for fast transport. Hence, this is when and why Draft horse came into being.

Gorillas

Gorillas are land mammals and mostly herbivorous apes. They reside in the forests of central Sub-Saharan Africa. Both the species of Gorilla are critically endangered now.
Gorillas are strong animals having great muscles. A gorilla can even defeat a lion in a fight. So don’t take them lightly!
Many people become curious about the muscular strength of a gorilla, considering they only eat vegetables. Well, gorillas' digestive system can digest cellulose. Digesting cellulose means that the body takes advantage of the plant fibers, thus strengthening the muscles. Sadly, this is not possible in human vegetarians or any other herbivores. Our digestive systems don’t work this way.
