What better way to end the nightmare year of 2020 than with a laugh, inspired by the Holy Spirit of God!

In Job 5:22, Job was told that one day he would laugh at destruction (suffering) and so he did. The Lord has given me this promise as well, over the years and it has come true more than once!

While making another audio journal recording yesterday morning, I captured the eruption of laughter which came upon me after reading something that struck me as so funny in the Streams in the Desert Daily Devotional. It caused me to lose myself in belly laughter which ultimately left me feeling very blessed in the face of all the suffering the Lord allows into my life!
I believe the Lord has shown me with Scripture that this was also the "cloud the size of a man's hand" that Elijah saw before the big rain finally came. If I laughed like this now, how much MORE will I lose myself in laughter when the Lord brings my Persis home just as He promised!!!

I pray this blesses you, especially after the year we have all had in 2020. It is the Lord that brings righteous and joyous laughter, so let us praise Him for His grace even in the midst of painful suffering. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow into our lives, so also, through Christ our comfort overflows.

Anxiety relief in 2020, laughter is medicine, the joy of the Lord, when God makes you laugh, God brings laughter, remembering troubles as waters gone by
